Score One For the Netroots!

Wed Sep 27, 2006 at 01:22:46 PM PDT

MN-01 is supposed to be an easy, safe, red district. Not anymore.

It's been trending blue for the last couple of years; Sen. Kerry got 48% of the vote in 2004, and Tim Walz, a Netroots candidate,  has been working hard to win. It looks like it's paying off...

From MN Publius, a big and reputable MN blog:

A well-placed source just gave us a few numbers from a very recent SEIU CD1 poll, and what wonderful news for Tim Walz!

Walz : 46

Gutknecht : 40

Undecided : 14

This is why we fight in every district. This is why we need to be competitive in all fifty states. Because when you've got a candidate as great as Tim, it can pay off.

Obviously the work isn't done. We have to keep on pushing in this district so MN-01 goes blue once again.

Here is the Netroots page.

Here is his page.

Let's do this!
